Default [SVN505] [Copern] Secure containers don't use up a lockdown - 02-14-2010

Behavior on Demise: A secure container does not count as a lockdown in the "Used by Lockdowns" and "Available Storage" count. It does show up correctly in "Available Lockdowns" however.
Behavior on OSI: Each secure container adds one lockdown to the "Used by Lockdowns" count and drops "Available Storage" by one.
Supporting Documentation (URLs): UO Herald - The House Sign
Changes needed: Make each secure container use up a lockdown.
Code (optional): See Attachment.

Notes: Placing items in containers goes by the current available storage. If this patch is applied, any houses that are at their max storage will end up going over their storage limit by however many secure containers they have. The items in the house will remain as they are, but taking them out will prevent them from returning it until the house is back below the storage limit. This could be a problem if people have lots of secure containers and are at their max storage limit.

i think the server needs to be informed about this patch before it goes in

We'll probably put a note in the News section, and do an "Open Browser" to it in game a few times in the days leading up to it to be on the safe side.

For something like this, I'd REALLY rather have a number of people report... Just in case ;->

Tested on Demise TC:

This one looks ok to me.
Checked my existing house and also tested with a freshly placed house. All secure containers use up a lockdown.
I could not exceed the max storage on the house or the max lockdown count.
I can't think of much else to check on this one.
